The NEW Art Walk in Owego begins May 16 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Historic Downtown Owego. Some of the featured artists include:

Tioga County Council on the Arts will host Photographer, Art Clark of Newark Valley, as well as works by students of renowned painter and instructor, Bob Merwin. Curt Osgood, well known dulcimer presenter will be playing from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in the ArtSpace Gallery during a wine and cheese reception.

Marian Simpson, award winning artist, will show in several mediums at Awakenings Coffeehouse: watercolor, acrylic and oil, which will demonstrate her versatility and creativity.

Artists, Albert White and John Rehak, are featured at the Cellar Attic Gallery, upstairs from the Cellar Restaurant on Front Street.

The new space upstairs at Front and Center Art Gallery will host three artists: Photographers, Carolyn Pulford and William Novak and artist, Barry Fetterolf.

Riverow Bookstore will feature wildlife photographer, Jerry Acton talking about his collections.

East of the Sun, West of the Moon will host artist, Carrie Tornatore.

The Stiles-Kingman House will display the latest modern works of artist, Tim Tarbox. Videos from the Experimental Television Center will also be shown at this gallery.

Tioga Trails Cafe is featuring the Dooneen Band with Michael Graven, Adam Kushner and Aidan Graven. Enjoy dinner while listening to Irish folk songs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

All in all, 13 Galleries and Art Spaces including a Coffeehouse will
showcase a broad range of artists every 3rd Friday of the month. Refreshments, music, and demonstrations will be offered.

Make Owego your Friday night destination on the Susquehanna River at Exit 64 off Route 17, starting May 16th . Restaurants, Art Walk, or Shopping...great reasons for a Friday night out!
