
The Tioga County Council on the Arts is pleased to offer services to
both artists,
and the communities in which they reside. The following is
a partial list of these services.
Advertising - FOCUS Newsletter, Internet, Media
Advertising has covered events
for many organizations and individuals, including the Ti-Ahwaga Players, Gallery 41, the Historic Owego
Marketplace, Tioga County Historical Society, Newark Valley
Historical Society, Waverly-In-Gear, Spencer Library, Candor
Library, and the Coburn Library. TCCA also publicizes and
announces grant opportunities for artists and organizations, exhibit
opportunities, local & regional exhibits and performances. TCCA also
highlights artists and musicians through their FOCUS Newsletter.
Classes and Seminars
TCCA offers classes and seminars to the community
while giving artists and organizations an opportunity to network
and expand within the community. Recent seminars and classes
include: Local Artist - acrylics, pastels, oils, opera, watercolor;
Alliance seminar - Creative Funding; County-wide assessment meetings
with artists and organizations
