Join four of the contributors as they share engaging stories in reading event,  NY Women Writers on Herstory, on Saturday, March 18, at TAC, 179 Front St., at 1:30 p.m.

Description

What was it like for courageous women in New York State to fight for the vote? And, more than one hundred years later, what other equality issues are renewing the pull that many feel to speak out?  In "NY Votes for Women: A Suffrage Centennial Anthology," 22 women explored these questions. Selections will be from the Anthology, and also in response to more contemporary American issues in celebration of women and Women's History Month. Afterward, there will be a Q&A session.
